Pondering
This sculpture captures the essence of pondering. The figure of a man looks wistfully into the distance, deep in thought, sitting in a secluded space, looking out over the landscape. He is well dressed, which is at odds with his landscape, which hints at the burden of the thoughts that he is pondering on. We trust that in this tranquil environment he will find the light bulb moment he seeks, giving him an insight into the direction to take, knowing the most certain way to succeed is to try just one more time. The figure was created using the lost wax process and is cast in solid bronze. He is sitting on top of a worked sandstone block. Specifications Height: 20cm Width: 20cm Depth: 10cm Material: Bronze, Sandstone Editions: 10; Sandstone base varies between editions.Don’t ponder on things you could have done, things you should have done, things you should never have done.
